今回も「動物」のトピックに関連し、「動物の利用」について学習したいと思います。
以前の「動物実験の是非」と関連したトピックで動物実験に対しては否定的な立場から英文を書きました。一貫性がありませんが今回は「人間がどのように動物を利用しているか、そして人間の生活のために動物を利用することは正当化されうるか」という質問に対して肯定的な立場から英文を書いてみたいと思います。
Humans have used animals for various purposes. Early humans used animals to guard themselves against other animals. Animals, such as horses and camels, helped carry people or things before the advent of automobiles. On top of that, livestock has supported human lives by providing the things humans need in their daily lives. In recent years, more attention has been paid to the science of biomimicry. Although some people claim that animal use can be abusive, I believe that using animals and learning from them is a good way for humans to live in harmony with nature.
