解答例
Although governments have realized the importance of protecting animals, it is hard to say that their efforts are enough.
First, due to urbanization, many animals have lost their habitats and moved into cities. These animals eat crops, so farmers sometimes have to kill these animals, which is causing their populations to decline.
Second, poaching is threatening some animal species. These include elephants and tigers, whose tusks and bones are traded illegally and sold on the black market because they go for a lot of money.
Third, over the past 50 years, more than 60 percent of animal and plant species have died out, and one of the biggest contributing factors is climate change. As global warming accelerates, there have been more wildfires. Animals living in the forests are forced to leave their habitats.
In conclusion, because of insufficient efforts to address urbanization, poaching and climate change, I believe that governments are not doing enough to protect animals.
