The most memorable day of my life was when I climbed up the hill with a friend of mine after finishing my dissertation in graduate school. Studying at a foreign graduate school had been a lifelong goal of mine, and completing the dissertation marked the end of that journey. On the hill, I felt a sense of accomplishment and was determined to set out on my next journey.
