Since 2001, when the Netherlands first legalized euthanasia, the number of countries accepting euthanasia has been growing. As of 2024, euthanasia is legally permitted in more than ten countries worldwide. Despite this trend, I believe euthanasia should be abolished due to the psychological burden on doctors, difficulty in determining eligible patients and its social impact.

2001年にオランダで安楽死が合法化されて以来、安楽死を認める国の数は増加しています。2024年現在、世界中で10カ国以上が安楽死を合法化しています。この傾向にもかかわらず、医師への心理的負担、適格患者の判断の難しさ、そして社会への影響を考慮すると、私は安楽死を廃止すべきだと考えています。
